To assist member agencies of all size and structure, IACLEA will offer its Sexual Assault on Campus: A Trauma-Informed Response training twice in April
The training is designed for sworn and non-sworn officers of both public and private, two-year and four-year institutions...The training cost is $249 for IACLEA members and $395 for non-members
FEI invites you to attend the Social Media for Natural Disaster Response and Recovery Training on September 5th, 2013 from 8am-5pm at the Grand Hyatt Buckhead in Atlanta, GA (3300 Peachtree Road Northeast). This FEMA certified training is hosted by FEI Behavioral Health and is facilitated by the University of Hawaii National Disaster Preparedness Training Center (NDPTC). This is a free training in which emergency management workers can learn skills regarding social media and its uses, as well as the current tools, methods, and models to properly make use of social media for crisis communication
Secretaries, maintenance and security personnel are important front-line employees, who need such training. Be sure to instruct all personnel to never touch any suspicious package and to report such packages immediately according to your standard operating procedures
