  Provincial or Canadian Regional Associations

  Hello everyone,

  In Ontario, we have a provincial association of postsecondary practitioners called OACUSA (Ontario Association of College and University Security Administrators).? ?When I worked in BC, I used to participate in a loosely formed western group called CSAW, does that group still exist?

  I’m wondering if any of the other provinces outside Ontario have formal or semi-formal groups or associations where you and your colleagues come together for networking or educational opportunities?? If so, could you please identify them to me and who the leaders are?? ?I’d like to work with these groups to help bring IACLEA awareness and resources to assist them wherever possible.? ? I believe there is much more IACLEA can do to support regional/provincial groups.?

  Please let me know.? ?In the meantime, I hope to see many of you in Orlando for the annual conference.? ? There is still time to register if you’ve been sitting on the fence deciding whether to go or not.? ?You will not be disappointed if you do decide to come.
