Board of Directors Nominations Period OPEN!
Dear IACLEA Members,
Happy new year?and may we all experience relief from the pandemic and a return to our vibrant campuses as soon as possible.
At IACLEA, we begin the year by selecting new leaders to serve on the Board of Directors. Participation on the Board provides members the opportunity to expand their strategic thinking, support their fellow IACLEA members, and advance the profession, itself.

In March, IACLEA members will choose a new President-Elect, as well as four other members of the IACLEA Board of Directors:
President Elect
Director ? Canada
Director ? Mid-Atlantic Region
Director ? Mountain Pacific Region
Director-At-Large
IACLEA Board members oversee the strategic direction of the association, and ensure that IACLEA?s program and services are relevant, member-driven, and providing you the information, training, and services you need and expect.? ?
All professional members of IACLEA are invited to engage in the call for nominations process.? For complete information on officer and director eligibility requirements, to include obligations of service and board responsibilities, visit the IACLEA web site.?
The 2021-22 IACLEA Election Nominations Packet includes complete details on the nomination and election process.? ? ?
The timeline for the 2021 election is as follows: ???????????
January 4: Nominations are accepted (you may self-nominate). The nominations period closes February 4.
Late February: After ensuring nominees? eligibility, the IACLEA Leadership Development Committee will announce the 2021-21 slate of candidates.
Late February to early March: Candidate endorsements will be accepted via IACLEA CONNECTIONS.
March: Institutional representatives and professional members will vote via electronic ballot.
Early April:? Election results are announced, after all candidates are notified.
Late June 2021: New and/or re-elected Board members will be sworn in during the Annual Business Meeting conducted during the Annual Conference & Exposition.
