Hello,
Has anyone recently gone from, or is in the process of, non-sworn to sworn campus police? If so, may we connect? If not, can you direct me to a college that has recently done this? I think I remember a presentation this year at IACCLEA discussing this, but I cannot remember the college that presented.

Stafford & Associates may be a good source for information and references. I know a few retired chiefs that have been contracted to do what you are inquiring about.Good luck on your process.

I led this transition at my previous institution in 2013 and would be happy to touch base. I also presented on this topic at the 2016 IACLEA Annual Conference with Chief Jim Montanari (Lewis University-Ret.).
