I want to introduce myself to those who I have not yet met in my sixteen years of working in the field and within IACLEA. I am honored to be unopposed to replace Chief Vance Rice, formerly of MS State University, a dear friend and colleague. I am excited to see what the next year holds for IACLEA and our region in partnering for education, networking, and the betterment of our profession, protecting campuses in the southeast, nationally, and worldwide.

I began my law enforcement journey thirty-three years ago as a Sheriff’s Dispatcher and progressed through the ranks and three agencies to become Chief of Police and then Director of Public Safety for Holmes Community College. I have spent the last six years at Delta State University, part of Mississippi’s eight-university system. I mention both to point to my experiences in both the 2-year and 4-year systems.?

I pledge to you my best in representing you on the IACLEA board and I look forward to getting acquainted with those who I have not met and seeing friends as well.
