• Help Shape Our Reactivated Committee

Hello Leaders. As IACLEA continues to strengthen the way we serve and support our campus communities, the reforming of this committee is important. This collaborative committee will only help to elevate the work, voice, and professional development of our Non-Sworn professionals across the landscape.

Please be on the lookout for an invitation to our initial “storming” meeting where we will have a chance to come together (virtually), exchange ideas, and shape the foundation of this committee. This is where we will begin to define who we are, what we stand for, and how we will support one another in a role we all well know is demanding, dynamic, and essential.

My goals for the initial meeting:

Review the purpose and scope, as defined by President Kilfoyle

Identify founding members and those interested in talking a leadership or support roles

Potentially form subcommittees (Training & Development, Policy/Procedure, Equity & Inclusion, Community Engagement, and others based on interest)

Gather your needs, ideas, and expectations for what we should and can accomplish as a committee

Your perspective is important. Whether you’ve been a part of IALCEA for years or recently joined, your voice will help shape the direction and strength of this committee.

      Bryant Jackson and Robert Kilfoyle
